Boden is back in action!

It was a long sick week (or two), but I think we have achieved a healthy state again for the moment. We tried a redo on Jake's b-day dinner and once again he threw up all over himself and Mommy so Daddy had to eat his steak fast.




All last week he wanted to take his nap with Mommy. It was very sweet, but not a good habit to get into. Doesn't he look so sad!














This is Boden's new favorite place to play, or hide.

He is also standing all on his own for at least a couple of seconds.

















We did manage to make it out of the house and to the park to let him try his first big twisty slide with Daddy.

Happy Birthday Jake!

33 years for Daddy and 8 months for Baby! It is amazing that he is already 8 months old. This was quite a week. Boden (and all the kids in my daycare) got a cold, and like father like son, Boden's turned into a sinus infection. By Saturday he was feeling better so we drove down to Evergreen to visit a good friend Colin (We missed you Tara!). Then while sitting down for dinner in Silverthorne Boden got his first stomach flu ALL OVER MOMMY- TWICE! Needless to say it was a long car ride home and by the next morning both boys were sick, again.







We hope to see you both up here once the snow flies!

Happy Halloween

We had a Halloween party for the daycare kids- it was a lot of fun.

Here they are...
Beau (the bear), Boden (the pumpkin), Conner (the doggy -not in costume), and Catcher (the engineer).












Catcher even brought his own train and let Boden have a turn behind the engine!























































































Gruidl came to visit and although it doesn't look like it in the photo he was very comfortable in his arms.

SNOW!

It has been a busy weekend for little Boden. It snowed and he got to go for a ride in his sled and try to eat snowballs-they are very cold!









































He was so exhausted he took a nap on the couch during the football game- just like Daddy and Grandpa!












Grandma & Grandpa Lokkesmoe had a blast with the little man all weekend.

He loves the outside. He woke up once this weekend and we brought him outside his room when it was dark, he went straight for the window and started to cry- he thought the world had disappeared! We turned on the light and he literally sighed with relief.











No problem standing on his own. The chairs are a jungle gym.

Another week in the life of Boden...

Uncle Brad would be proud of you Boden, always crawling right for the wobbly drum and wanting to bang all day!



















He is all about music this week.




















Boden loves to read to himself, he even reads out loud.
















And thanks to Grandma Lokkesmoe's new shipment of toys, Daddy made him his own wagon chariot... he had a blast riding up and down the hallway.

Got Teeth?

Our big news for the week...Boden has teeth! His two front bottom teeth just popped through, yeah! So we decided to try a teething biscuit, it must have been good, but it was a real mess.















Another new trick, he can now pull himself up in his crib, scary! Time to lower the bed, again.


































Boden got to splash around in the hot tub and had a blast on a cold snowy day in Steamboat.








































We also had a fire, which he thought was the coolest (or hottest) thing ever.

This past weekend Boden and I (Beth) spent some quality time in North Dakota. My cousin Kyle married a wonderful new addition to the family. They are currently in Hawaii (totally jellous- since it is snowing here!) and hopefully having the time of their lives. It was a beautiful wedding and was great to see all the family again.
